Linfield University’s 2020 Annual Security Report is now available online. This yearly report provides information on crime statistics, and the university’s security policy and procedures. It also provides useful information on the university’s emergency response protocols and guidance as well as policies regarding sexual assault and other matters.
Federal law (the “Clery Act”) requires colleges and universities that receive federal funding to disseminate a public annual security report to employees and students every year. The report includes statistics of campus crime for the preceding three calendar years, plus details about efforts taken to improve campus safety. Detailed information about the Clery Act can be found on the Clery Center webpage – clerycenter.org.
This report is prepared by Linfield Public Safety, in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies, the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Environmental Health and Safety. A full version of the 2020 Annual Security Report is on the LPS website at www.linfield.edu/linfield-public-safety/incident-reports.html.
