
Linfield Public Safety posted its most recent annual security report on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022. The report is a requirement of federal law, including the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Higher Education Opportunity Act.
The report includes statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the university; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, a university campus. Data included in this report includes statistics from Linfield’s McMinnville and Portland campuses.

Overall, reported crime decreased on the McMinnville campus from 2020 to 2021; the Portland campus stayed even with no reported crimes. The most commonly reported crime in McMinnville were liquor law referrals, which dropped from 156 incidents in 2020 to 98 in 2021. No bias-related crimes or incidents pursuant to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) were reported on either campus in 2021.
