
Concert rock violinist Aaron Meyer performs a one-night-only concert, benefiting Linfield University’s Department of Music, from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24 at Youngberg Hill Winery and Inn. Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Linfield’s Department of Music for instructional support and performance equipment.
At the Sounds of Summer concert, Meyer and keyboardist Jean-Pierre Garau will perform a range of songs, showcasing their repertoire from Mozart and Vivaldi to Queen and Led Zeppelin. The performance will also feature Linfield student TJ Lake (tenor) accompanied by pianist Anne Britt.
General admission tickets are now on sale for $25. They are available at linfield.edu/sounds-of-summer or by calling 503-472-2179. All seats are lawn seating, and guests are invited to bring chairs and blankets for their comfort.
Food and beverage will be available on site from Youngberg Hill Winery and Caballero’s Food Truck. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.
