Linfield College will host a fall choral concert, “In Endless Song,” on Sunday, Oct. 17, at 4 p.m. in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium in Melrose Hall at Linfield.
The choral music concert will feature the Linfield Concert Choir, Women’s Vocal Ensemble and Wildcat Men’s Glee Club. They will perform folk and multicultural songs along with works by composers William Byrd, Edvard Grieg and Srul Irving Glick.
Anna Song, assistant professor of music and choral director, received her bachelor’s in composition from UCLA and her master’s in conducting from the School of Music and the Institution of Sacred Music at Yale University. She has directed choirs and taught music in the Portland area since 2001, and teaches music education, vocal ensemble, ear training and sight singing, and understanding music at Linfield.
