Joining the first-year students were 100 transfer and international exchange students.
Linfield College introduced new students to the campus community and each other with a variety of activities, including an opening convocation ceremony, a session about positive communication strategies, meetings with academic and student advisors, and an Activities Fair that introduced students to the wide array of clubs and organizations.
On the lighter side, new students caught a Cat Cab All-Star performance and had an opportunity to enjoy McMinnville’s historic downtown.
The orientation ended with a presentation from nationally-recognized motivational speaker Dr. Will Keim, who offered advice about how to use the college years to “set the banquet table for the feast you will enjoy the rest of your life.”
