Four Linfield College students who faced natural disasters while studying abroad will tell their stories during “When the Worst Happens Abroad” Thursday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m. in Jonasson Hall, lower level of Melrose Hall at Linfield.

Linfield junior Jennifer Boston and seniors Ariel Lillico, Elizabeth Stenger and Leah Sedy will share how they dealt with cyclones, earthquakes, a tsunami and nuclear meltdown during their semester abroad experiences in New Zealand and Japan.

The event is sponsored by the International Programs Office and is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Michele Tomseth at mtomseth@linfield.edu or 503-883-2434.
