The Linfield College football team was praised in the cover story in Coach and Athletic Director magazine.
Granted open behind-the-scenes access during the late portion of the 2011 season, magazine editor Michael Austin spotlighted Linfield’s weekly preparation methods and game-coaching practices in the lead-off story of an 11-page feature, “Playing to Personnel’s Strengths Proves Successful, Consistent.”
“I truly believe it’s one of the best program overviews we’ve ever done,” says Austin, citing the unfettered access granted by the coaching staff while researching the package.
The specialty publication’s subscriber base of 35,000 is comprised primarily of high school and college coaches and athletics administrators.
