This month Linfield College students are meeting executives and coaches for a front-row seat on a career in sport management.
In the “Career Exploration: Through the Lens of Sport Management” class, students are meeting representatives from the Portland Trail Blazers, Adidas, Columbia Sportswear, Seattle Seahawks and many other Pacific Northwest companies.
They are also conducting mock interviews and informational interviews in preparation for a professional career in the field.
The class is taught by the staff at the Linfield Office for Career Development, which provides assistance with resumes and cover letters, networking, interviews and numerous other skills.
