Linfield student and prof speak out on OPB’s Think Out Loud

Literature Professor Daniel Pollack-PelznerLinfield College was invited to participate in an Oregon Public Broadcasting program with a Pulitzer Prize winning author. Student Kate McMullan ’13 and English Professor Daniel Pollack-Pelzner spoke on the show.

Celebrated literary scholar and Harvard Professor Stephen Greenblatt was the featured guest, and talked about his influential book, The Swerve: How the World Became Modern. Think Out Loud invited Reed and Linfield Colleges for the live audience discussion.

Pollack-Pelzner teaches Shakespeare, Renaissance drama and British literary history. A Harvard-educated scholar, Pollack-Pelzner trained at Yale University as a Shakespearean actor.

He is completing a book on Shakespeare and the Victorian novel, leads trips to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and serves as scholar-in-residence for the Portland Shakespeare Project.
