Top continuing education students inducted into national honor society

June 22, 2013 by Linfield News Team

By Linfield News Team

ASL-Honor-Grads-latest-newsTwo dozen students in Linfield’s Adult Degree Program were recently inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, the largest and oldest honor society in the nation.

The organization recognizes exceptional scholarship among continuing education students, who often negotiate the commitments of work, families and community involvement, in addition to coursework.

The Adult Degree Program at Linfield College established the Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda in 2012 in order to honor its high-achieving adult students. Thirteen inductees graduated from Linfield in early June.
