The national championship Wildcats were honored in front of nearly 3,000 fans attending a Hillsboro Hops Single-A baseball game. Linfield Coach Scott Brosius, a 1988 Linfield graduate, threw out a ceremonial first pitch and the players and coaches were introduced to the crowd.
Linfield captured the title in May, it’s third national championship in baseball – but the first in the NCAA era – adding to NAIA titles in 1966 and 1971. Read the full story in the McMinnville News-Register. Find more information on Linfield baseball.
