International student to share insights of Holland

Holland tulipsLinfield College freshman Vince van ’t Hoff will present “Holland: So Far, But Still So Close” on Thursday, April 24, at 4 p.m in Jonasson Hall, lower level of Melrose Hall at Linfield.

Van ’t Hoff, an international student from Holland attending Linfield for one year on a Fulbright scholarship, will provide a glimpse into his home country along with highlights of his year at Linfield. He will provide information on life in Amsterdam, the difference between the names Holland and Netherlands, and his personal life and interests.

The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the International Programs Office. For more information, call 503-883-2434 or email ipo@linfield.edu.
