Two Linfield College exhibits – the senior thesis exhibition and the portfolio exhibition – will showcase student art May 13-31 in the James F. Miller Fine Arts Center at Linfield.
Artist presentations will be held Wednesday, May 13, at 5 p.m. in the Delkin Recital Hall in the Vivian A. Bull Music Center, followed by a reception at 7:30 p.m. in the Linfield Gallery.
The Senior Thesis Exhibition, INvision, will be in the Linfield Gallery featuring the work of graduating seniors Lionel Parra, Ivan Colin, Maya Luque, Kelsey Garrett and Taryn Takara.
The Portfolio Exhibition will be in the Lou Gallery featuring the work of Heidi Ambrose, Lindsey Dahl, Davonte McLin, Kristin Miller, Jack Nunn, Jana Purington, Douglas Sundman and Caleb Taylor. The exhibit is the culmination of the year-long course for majors during which students develop a portfolio of unified work.
All exhibits are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. (Galleries will be closed May 25.) The gallery is located in the James F. Miller Fine Arts Center on the Linfield College campus.
