Two Linfield College accounting graduates are among 40 of the most accomplished professionals in the region under 40 years of age, according to the annual Portland Business Journal 40 Under 40 awards.
Graham Petersen ’03 and Jon Wilson ’05 will be recognized Thursday, Feb. 18, and are included in the Portland Business Journal story. This year’s theme, “High School Glory Days,” features honorees photographed with a relic of their high school years. Learn more about this year’s group.
Petersen is a CPA and shareholder with Geffen Mesher, a full service Portland CPA firm that focuses on helping its clients achieve their goals. He provides financial statement, tax and consulting services to a variety of construction, real estate, technology and professional services companies as well as affluent individuals. In addition, he chairs the firm’s construction practice group and is heavily involved with the firm’s college recruiting efforts. Petersen also serves as treasurer and on the board of directors for the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network and is involved with a number of other professional and civic activities.
Wilson cut his teeth in public accounting working for KPMG LLP and is now the chief financial officer of Radisys Corporation. Radisys is a Hillsboro-based, publicly traded provider of software and hardware infrastructure products that enable next generation communications networks. Radisys has undergone a significant transformation to focus more fully on software products and under Wilson’s leadership returned to profitability in 2015 all while meaningfully investing in new software products which grew over 35 percent in 2015. Wilson is a member of Linfield’s Rising Alumni President’s Circle leadership team.
