The talents of Linfield College music students will be showcased during an honors recital on Tuesday, May 16, at 7 p.m. in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium in Melrose Hall at Linfield.
The evening will feature top student vocal and instrumental performances nominated by Linfield College music faculty for excellence in achievement in applied music lessons. The program includes solo pieces for piano, trumpet, cello, guitar and voice, along with a presentation of endowed music scholarship awards.
The recital will also recognize Albert Kim for his contributions as an assistant professor of music at Linfield and congratulate him on his new position at the University of Central Missouri, beginning this fall. An audience appreciation reception will follow the recital.
