The third annual Giving Day, held Tuesday, May 1, raised more than $320,000, well past the initial $250,000 goal. Total gifts nearly doubled 2017’s results, and were seven times greater than the first Giving Day in 2016.
More than 720 Linfield supporters contributed to the record amount. Donors from coast to coast as well as overseas made gifts, all to the benefit of Linfield students.
Activities were held on the Linfield campuses in McMinnville and Portland to celebrate Giving Day, including food trucks, therapy llamas, a bounce house, highland games, trivia, doughnuts, raffle prizes and more.
