‘What Have You Seen?’ opens at the Linfield Anthropology Museum

The Linfield Anthropology Museum will celebrate the opening of its Spring 2018 exhibit with a reception on Monday, May 14, at 1 p.m.  The exhibit, “What Have You Seen? A Visual Look at Belief, Legend and Truth,” explores the aspects of life that are unseen, unproven and difficult to quantify, yet often have profound impacts on the way in which people live their lives. Curated by Genna Hughes ’18, an anthropology major, the exhibit examines this theme in a variety of ways – from the significance and symbolism of masked performance to a lighthearted look at McMinnville’s own UFO Festival. The Linfield Anthropology Museum is located on the first floor of Walker Hall on the McMinnville campus of Linfield College. Admission is free and open to the public.
