Linfield College will celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture during its Hispanic Heritage Celebración. The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, from 1–5 p.m. at the Rutschman Field House on campus.
The Celebración will feature live music, student performances and activities such as piñatas, face painting and bouncy castles, as well as a variety of Hispanic and Latinx food.
The event will extol Hispanic heritage and culture and support Linfield’s Hispanic and Latinx students and their families. Recently, Linfield was lauded by U.S. News & World Report for being the most diverse liberal arts college in the Pacific Northwest.
The event is free, family friendly and open to the public. It is sponsored by Spanish Club, Mecha, LCLA, ASLC, Diversity Grants, Global Languages and Cultural Studies, Student Affairs, and Multicultural Programs and Services.
