According to Zippia, Linfield College isn’t one of the top four colleges in Oregon for getting a job after graduation — it’s two of them.
Zippia, a California-based career website, has released its list of the 10 best colleges in Oregon for job placement after graduation. Linfield College has taken both the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, earning recognition for the School of Nursing and the McMinnville campus, respectively.
Zippia ranked four-year institutions by examining College Scorecard Data. They searched for colleges in Oregon with the highest listed job placement ratings and looked specifically at employment levels at year 10 after students graduated. They then looked at the percentage of graduates with jobs. Each Linfield College campus had a 91.21% employment rate.
Zippia has previously ranked Linfield as No. 1 in Oregon for graduates’ earnings, reporting that Linfield graduates have an average salary of $56,400 at 10 years after entry, compared to the national median of $34,300.
Earlier in the academic year, U.S. News and World Report ranked Linfield the “Best Value” among liberal arts colleges in Oregon.
