Dawn Graff-Haight, professor of health education at Linfield College, will present a “Last Lecture” on Wednesday, April 24, at 7 p.m. in Ice Auditorium at Linfield College.
Graff-Haight, who joined the Linfield faculty in 1996, will present “Dawn’s Tips: Reflections on Life as a Health Educator.” The last lecture series enables retiring faculty to give a final presentation to the community.
Over the course of her career, Graff-Haight has developed innovative school-based health education programs and teacher trainings throughout the United States. She is an advocate for LGBTQ+ and marginalized groups and challenges students to think critically about health issues that affect themselves and others.
She received a Ph.D. in education from Oregon State University, an M.S. in health education from University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and a B.S. in health education and physical education, also from University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
