
Linfield University’s newest nursing graduates will be honored in a Hooding and Pinning Ceremony at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17. The event takes place on the Linfield University Portland Campus and will be livestreamed on the Linfield University YouTube channel. Tickets are required for on-campus attendees.
“Nurses are needed more than ever in Oregon and throughout the healthcare profession. Linfield’s new graduates are more than ready to meet the challenges that lie ahead now and in the future,” said Kim Dupree Jones, dean of the Linfield University-Good Samaritan School of Nursing. “Linfield’s faculty, staff and the students’ peers could not be prouder of these emerging leaders in the field.”
A total of 89 graduates will be recognized, including students earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and students finishing the RN to BSN program.
Invited attendees should be aware of Linfield’s current security and pandemic policies. Face coverings are required for all university events, indoors or outdoors. All guests and members of the community are encouraged to stay at home if they feel unwell and to wash their hands frequently.
