Linfield University is the highest-ranked online bachelor’s degree program among private colleges in Oregon.
Linfield ranked 100th in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 edition of the “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs.” The annual report evaluates schools based on engagement, services and technologies, faculty credentials and expert opinion when deciding the online program rankings.
This is Linfield’s ninth consecutive year in the top 100. No other private college in Oregon was ranked in the top 100. The report also included Linfield among its list of top online business degrees.
“Despite unprecedented circumstances across the nation and the globe, Linfield continued to deliver high-quality online and in-person instruction,” Linfield President Miles K. Davis said. “As the needs and priorities of students evolve, it’s vital that higher education continues to adapt its delivery and meet students where they are.”
Linfield University is home to 1,762 students at its McMinnville and Portland, Oregon, campuses. Approximately 130 students are currently enrolled in the Online and Continuing Education program.
Some of the most popular online programs at Linfield are accounting, nursing (RN to BSN), management and marketing.
The U.S. News & World Report ranking is the latest recognition of the Online and Continuing Education program. Intelligent.com named Linfield among its 2022 Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs and Top RN to BSN ranked Linfield’s nursing program No. 7 in its list of Top 25 Online RN to BSN Degrees.
