
Linfield University hosts two musical performances sure to delight audiences in mid-October. Linfield’s vocal ensembles perform at the Fall Choral Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, and the Heath Quartet, a contemporary British chamber ensemble, holds a concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19.
Both events are open to the public and held on the Linfield University McMinnville Campus. Parking is free is designated parking spaces on campus.
The Fall Choral Concert is a free for all attendees and will be held in Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium inside Melrose Hall.
The Heath Quartet concert is part of the Linfield Lively Arts Concert Series and will be held in Delkin Recital Hall inside the Vivian Bull Music Center. The performance is free for all K-12 students and Linfield students with a current ID. General admission tickets are $10 and available at the door via cash or check.
“It is absolutely astounding that we at Linfield get a chance to attend a performance by the award-winning and world-travelling Heath Quartet,” said Florian Conzetti, coordinator of the Linfield Lively Arts Concert Series. “Concertgoers will be amazed at these musicians’ virtuosity and musical expression. This performance will move you.”
The Linfield Lively Arts Concert Series brings world-class musicians and ensembles to Linfield University for concerts, masterclasses, open rehearsals and “Meet the Musician” events with students and local audiences.
