Linfield University values the dedication, hard work and often invisible labor that educators, including many Linfield alumni, invest in students. Educators in all K-12 roles make impactful contributions in the lives of students and are uniquely positioned to help future Wildcats thrive at Linfield.
The Educator Recognition Award is granted to first-year and transfer students starting their Linfield undergraduate studies in fall of 2023. It is open to anyone with a parent or spouse that are current K-12 educators (teachers, administrators and staff). In appreciation of educators’ commitment to students, Linfield will award an additional $1,000 scholarship renewable for four years while students meet satisfactory academic progress toward graduation.
“We wanted to recognize the dedication that educators show our students every day,” said Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success Gerardo Ochoa. “This is Linfield’s way of giving back to our fellow colleagues in education.”
