High school counselors across the nation named Linfield one of 26 preferred small private schools in the U.S., with counselors saying that Linfield students are down to earth and … well, just plain nice.
Their College A-List was recently published in PARADE magazine.
“Linfield is a classic liberal arts college with a pre-professional feel,” one counselor reported. “Its students are some of the most earnest, down to earth, and nicest people I have encountered.”
Linfield’s Study Abroad program was also recognized. “Exceptional study abroad programs get the majority of the student body out into the world,” the magazine said, and the college pays airfare.
The survey was based on reports from high school counselors across the U.S. Other schools on the A-List include Grinnell, Pomona and Whitman.
