Linfield students and faculty will showcase an eclectic range of classical and non-classical pieces in an upcoming concert. The Linfield Cello Ensemble will present the annual Cello Extravaganza on Saturday, April 21, at 7 p.m. in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium in Melrose Hall at Linfield College.
The concert will feature music from Bach, Schubert and Grieg, plus the world premieres of two new works by Linfield senior composers Keelan Wells and Sophia Reinhardt. There will also be some surprises and non-classical pieces.
Performers include seniors Wells, John Christensen, Sophia Reinhardt and Anna Vanderschaegen; sophomores Keith Rasmussen, Hannah Terrell and Caitlin Wulf; and faculty member and ensemble instructor Diane Chaplin.
