Two Linfield College jazz groups, the Linfield College Jazz Band and Double Vision, the vocal jazz ensemble, will present Jazz Night Friday, May 14, at 8 p.m. in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium in Melrose Hall at Linfield.
Double Vision will present a variety of musical pieces as well as feature student soloists. The performance will include works such as “Songs are September,” “Un Baile del Corazon,” “Just Haven’t Met You Yet,” “Feels so Right,” “The Look of Love” and “Somehow Someway.”
The Linfield Jazz Band will also present a varied program featuring student performances. Works will include “Tenor Madness,” “Filthy McNasty,” “I Can’t Get Started” and “What is Hip,” among others.
