Buccola Publishes “Abraham Lincoln and Liberal Democracy”

Nick Buccola, political science professorEssays written as part of a 2014 conference hosted by Linfield College on Abraham Lincoln are collected in Abraham Lincoln and Liberal Democracy.

The volume, published by University Press of Kansas, was edited by Nicholas Buccola, associate professor and chair of the political science department at Linfield College. Buccola also contributed an essay on Lincoln’s conception of race to the collection. The book brings together some of the top Lincoln scholars and writers, many of them presenters at the 2014 conference.
