The Oregon Wine History Archive at Linfield College looks at this little-known event and what it has meant for the Oregon wine industry. Archives staff recently sat down with Stephen Cary, now the winemaker at Yamhill Valley Vineyards, who issued the challenge to Burgundy 30 years ago.
