CNN and Comcast Newsmakers will broadcast interviews with President Hellie, Coach Scott Brosius and psychology Professor Jennifer Linder throughout October.
You can catch them for three weeks beginning Oct. 4 on Portland’s Channel 45. The five-minute segments will air on Portland’s Channel 45, at 54 minutes after the hour with the exception of primetime, from 8 to 10 p.m.

Dr. Hellie spoke about the qualities that make Linfield unique. Professor Linder spoke about her research, which documents the effects on children of relational aggression on TV; she provided tips to parents. Baseball Coach Brosius talked about the importance of character and integrity in sports.
Seventeen additional Comcast Newsmakers interviews were videotaped at Linfield, featuring community leaders from the mid-Willamette Valley.
While you’ve got the TV on, tune in to OPB’s Oregon Field Guide, which will feature the research of biology Professor Nancy Broshot. The television specials will air Oct. 14 at 8:30 p.m. and Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m.
