Linfield College said farewell to 499 graduating seniors at its 2011 Spring Commencement Sunday, May 29, in the campus Oak Grove.
Graduates came from 20 states and seven countries, including China, Vietnam, Nepal, Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. The most popular majors were business, education, nursing, exercise science and psychology.
Former Linfield Dean Dave Hansen offered the commencement address. The baccalaureate address was delivered by retiring religious studies Professor William Apel, and Patrick Rodén ’85, CEO of aginginplace.com, offered the nursing convocation address.
