Linfield College student dancers and choreographers will perform at the Spring Dance Showcase, “E L E V A T E,” on Saturday, May 12, at 7 p.m. in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium in Melrose Hall on campus.
Twenty student dancers and five student choreographers will perform dances in a variety of styles, including musical theatre, contemporary, modern, ballet, hip-hop and lyrical. The showcase is directed by Eve Brindis, adjunct instructor of dance and a 2006 Linfield graduate. In addition to working with Linfield students, Brindis also teaches at Dance with Joy Studios, Portland School of Music and Dance, and Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation.
