iFocus, Linfield’s interdisciplinary orientation camp for science students, introduces new students to Linfield professors, and experiential learning experiences in biology, chemistry, math and physics. As part of this year’s early immersion experience, students spent two days at the Oregon coast studying microbial ecology with biology Professor Jeremy Weisz.
First C.L.A.S. (Community, Leadership, Action and Service) students volunteered at a local community garden and at Habitat for Humanity as part of a week-long service and leadership immersion program.
Classes begin Monday, Aug. 27.
