A group of Linfield College faculty and students repurposed their razors in November to increase awareness of men’s health issues.
The men, who raised more than $1,000, took part in Movember (mustache/November), an annual, month-long event involving the growing of mustaches to “change the face of men’s health.” The goal is both to raise money and bring greater attention to such issues as testicular cancer and prostate cancer.
Included in the group are Chuck Dunn, Michael Crosser, Bill Mackie, Robert Gardner, Jeremy Weisz, Lee Bakner, Brian Gilbert, Christopher Keaveney, Thomas Mertes, John Sagers, Brian Winkenweder, Michael Hitchman, John Syring, Christopher Gaiser, Nicholas Fairhart, Levi Altringer, Trevor Gomez, Andrew Olsen, James Harger and Andrew Tan.
