Dan Fergueson, director of college activities at Linfield College, has been named chair-elect to the board of directors for the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA).
The appointment is for the 2015-16 term.
Fergueson previously served as vice chair for programs on the board. He also has served in several regional capacities, including the NACA West Region as showcase selection coordinator, regional coordinator/regional conference program coordinator, regional business manager and as block booking coordinator. On the national level, he served as the NACA block booking coordinator in 2005-07 and as assistant block booking coordinator.
Fergueson received the NACA West Region’s Peggy Horgan Award for Outstanding Regional Volunteer in 2007 and the Shelly K. Bannish Award for Outstanding Staff Advisor in 2011, as well as the Associated Students of Linfield College Senate Outstanding Service Award for 2003-04. He has served on a number of advisory and planning committees and currently serves on the Administrators Compensation Committee at Linfield.
Fergueson, who has worked in student activities at Linfield for 16 years, holds a bachelor’s in biology from Albion College and a master’s degree in student personnel administration from Western Washington University.
