International students remain at Linfield University this fall

On Monday, July 6, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced that international students will not be able to enter or remain in the United States if the vocational schools, colleges and universities that they are studying at move to an entirely online format for the fall. Understandably, this has caused a lot of concern among our Linfield University students, faculty and staff about their classmates, students and friends. However, since Linfield announced our return for in-person instruction for fall 2020, the international students that are currently part of our community, or soon joining one of our campuses, are not affected by this announcement. We look forward to welcoming all our students back to the McMinnville and Portland campuses in August.
