Biology Professor Anne Kruchten was interviewed recently by Comcast Newsmakers about Linfield College’s efforts to promote the study of science and build a community of scientists on campus.
Comcast Newsmakers selected Linfield College as the host for recent interviews with local leaders from Yamhill County. The short interview segments are hosted by journalist Ken Ackerman and feature discussions with elected, non-profit, and community leaders from the area. In addition to being online, the interviews are featured locally on CNN Headline News.
Linfield was also represented by President Thomas L. Hellie, who discussed the state of college enrollment, and Michael Hampton, director of career development, who discussed how Linfield helps prepare students for work after college.
