Linfield College music students will perform a musical theater cabaret on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. in the Fred Meyer Lounge in Riley Hall at Linfield.
“The Lullaby of Broadway” will feature scenes and songs from Broadway, and is the culmination of the musical theatre cabaret class, led by Natalie Gunn, adjunct professor of music at Linfield. Student performers include senior Izgi Gulfem Torunlar, juniors Ryan Thompson and Jeremy Odden and freshman Mary Beth Jones. The group will perform scenes and songs from musicals such as “Anything Goes,” “The Fantasticks,” “Street Scene,” “Carousel,” “The King & I,” “Showboat,” “Guys & Dolls,” “Annie, Get Your Gun” and more.
