Linfield grad escapes Libyan conflict, safe in Portland

March 22, 2011 by Linfield News Team

By Linfield News Team

Nadia Abraibesh ’10 just got home from Benghazi, where she participated in history being made. OPB Radio, FOX 12 News and KATU Channel 2 News aired stories.

Abraibesh traveled to Libya to visit with family members and brush up on Arabic, and ended up marching in the streets and documenting protests and atrocities with photos and interviews.

Much to the relief of family, friends and the Linfield community, she arrived home safely in Portland last week.
