“Come to the cabaret,” the musical theatre standard beckons. Linfield College takes up this call as it holds an evening cabaret performance of musical theatre scenes.
The Linfield Department of Music will present its cabaret on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Delkin Recital Hall of the Vivian A. Bull Music Center.
Linfield College students will perform solo and ensemble pieces from Broadway musicals including “Rent,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “[title of show],” “Legally Blonde,” “Ragtime,” “The Light in the Piazza” and more. The event is the culmination of a fall class led by Hannah Penn, adjunct professor of music.
