Linfield returns to the national semifinals for the first time since 2009 to face defending champion UW-Whitewater, Saturday, Dec. 13, at 12:30 p.m. PST.
Sam Riddle ’17 threw five touchdown passes and Alex Hoff ’16 had a hand in five sacks as Linfield (11-1) dominated previously unbeaten Widener (Pa.) 45-7 in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III playoffs Dec. 6 in Pennsylvania. Read the full release.

The Linfield-UWW game is scheduled to be rebroadcast on ESPNU, a cable TV channel, on Friday, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m. PST. Saturday’s winner advances to the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl in Salem, Va., to play the winner of the other semifinal match up between Mount Union (Ohio) and Wesley (Del.) on Friday, Dec. 19, at 4 p.m. PST. That game is scheduled to air on ESPNU.
