Linfield College students will perform a musical Liederabend and musical theatre cabaret on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Vivian A. Bull Music Center lobby at Linfield.
A Liederabend, or gathering of friends, is an evening of song designed for an intimate atmosphere of a living room rather than a formal grandeur of a concert hall. The voice students from the studios of professors Anton Belov and Hannah Penn will present a program of classical songs and excerpts from American musical theater, accompanied by pianists Susan McDaniel and Anne Britt. Light refreshments will be served.
