Linfield will celebrate more than 500 graduating seniors in two online celebrations on Sunday, May 31. All graduates will be recognized at noon on the college’s YouTube and Facebook pages, with an online pinning ceremony for the Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing following at 3 p.m. Both times are Pacific.
The noon broadcast will feature special messages from Linfield President Miles K. Davis and a graduating senior selected from video submissions. The program will conclude with a special tribute to the graduates.
All members of the Linfield community are encouraged to tune in and to share messages on social media using the hashtag #Linfield20.
On May 8, Linfield announced that the in-person Commencement ceremony scheduled for July 25-26 would be canceled as a result of the State of Oregon’s recommendation that no large gatherings be held through at least September.
