Linfield earned a spot in the regional championship game after squeaking by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point 3-2 Friday at Roy Helser Field.
Linfield plays in the championship game Saturday at noon against an opponent yet to be determined, with an if necessary game scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
The defending national champion Wildcat baseball team is hosting and competing in the regional tournament happening through Saturday at Linfield College.
