Sometimes, all it takes is a carrot kiss to ease the stress leading up to finals.
Linfield College students took a break from studying to feed carrots to therapy animals Rojo the llama and Napoleon the alpaca. Some brave students held carrots in their mouths for the animals to nibble.
This friendly pair visited from Mountain Peak Therapy Llamas & Alpacas. Rojo is the #1 “Beyond the Show Ring” public relations llama in the world and has been in many parades and events, is featured in the children’s book “Unlikely Heroes” by Jennifer Holland and now has his own children’s book “The Perfectly Imperfect Llama.”
The Mountain Peak animals have made more than 1,000 therapeutic visits to schools, hospitals and senior centers and have been featured in the Huffington Post, Oprah Magazine and CNN.
