Jazz pianist and winemaker Marcus Johnson will perform “Live in Wine Country” at the Stoller Experience Center on Dayton’s Stoller Family Estate on Thursday, Dec. 7. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Linfield University’s Department of Music to provide scholarships and instruments to students requiring financial assistance.
Johnson is a true multihyphenate: he’s released 15 Billboard charted CDs, and in 2008, held three of the top 10 spots on Billboard Contemporary Jazz. He also holds a JD and MBA from Georgetown University, is creator of FLO Wines, and is a Presidential Service Award winner.
Johnson is a longtime friend of Linfield, having served as a visiting entrepreneur for the School of Business and wine studies center; a speaker at the inaugural BIPOC Wine Symposium, and is a regular Zoom presence in many Linfield classrooms — music, business and wine.
Tickets are $85 and now on sale. For more information, please see the event page on StollerFamilyEstate.com.
