Money magazine released its rankings for the “Best College for Your Money” in 2018, and Linfield College has the No. 1 spot among liberal arts colleges in Oregon.
Linfield was ranked 373 out of 727 colleges and universities nationally. The ranking places Linfield higher than George Fox University (#570), Lewis & Clark College (#441), Reed College (#565) and Willamette University (#479).
Money magazine considers several factors to determine value. First, they screen out colleges with graduation rates below the median, financial trouble or enrollment of less than 500 students. The remaining schools were ranked on 26 items in the categories of quality of education, affordability and alumni outcomes.
