Alice Clement Memorial Organ at Linfield CollegeRegal. Resonant. Resplendent. These are just three words used to describe the Alice Clement Memorial Organ in Ice Auditorium in Melrose Hall.

Hear the organ in this video, as Susan McDaniel ’97, music department principal accompanist, plays “Trompette” by John Stanley (1713-1786).

The Casavant organ, a memorial to Clement who served Linfield as the dean of the conservatory from 1922-46, has 2,314 pipes with 38 stops and 48 ranks. Since its installation and dedication 45 years ago, the organ has provided memorable concerts to countless audiences. Read more and see photos in Linfield Magazine.
