Linfield student Catherine Street ’12 is juggling classes and nursing practicum shifts at a children’s hospital while training for a possible slot in the pole vault competition at the U.S. Olympic Trials.
Street, who won the NCAA Division III indoor pole vault title in March, is considered a favorite to capture the Division III outdoor national championship May 26-28 at Delaware, Ohio.
Education, however, comes first for Street, who will receive a bachelor’s in nursing this May.
