Linfield College alumni continue to prove they are powerful educators.
Kris Olsen ’83, principal of McMinnville High School, was named Oregon High School Principal of the year, joining a list of Linfield alumni who are considered some of the best.
In a recent article by the News-Register, Olsen was honored for his leadership and for the role he has played in the major improvements made in the district over the past dozen year. Olsen joins a list of Linfield educators who have been recognized in the past year for their dedication to teaching. Last fall, Michael Lindblad ’94 was named Oregon Teacher of the Year; Nathaniel Wight ’99 received the Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators; and Tim Love ’07 was named Oregon Social Studies Teacher of the Year.
